Apologies for the hiatus, but I had limited access to Wi-fi while I was in Italy and Greece for 10 days as part of my Global Marketing course.
It was 10 days filled with tours, expeditions, and lots of pizza!
Over the course of the trip we stayed in Athens, Greece for five days and then Padua, Italy for the remaining five days. While we were in Italy, we also visited Venice, Murano, Milan, Burano and Bologna which were all beautiful.
Compared to Italy, Greece came in second in my opinion, but I loved seeing the history and getting to explore the markets. It was amazing to be able to visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and go up to the top of Lykavittos Hill.
The food was good for a few days, but my tummy got sick of eating gyros and gelato almost every day, so I opted for classic potato fries for the remainder of the trip in Athens.
My favorite cities we visited in Italy were definitely Venice and Milan. It’s amazing that the whole city has been floating for so many years.
And oh my gosh Milan was like a dream. Next time I visit Milan I better have a black card in hand, because the shopping is incredible.
Venice will always have my heart, because I had the best pesto pasta with fried shrimp there. Let me tell you, it was so good that a swarm of birds wanted a taste.
Each day was packed with various activities so on somedays sleep deprivation got the best of me and I failed to bring my camera. *womp womp*
Out of the pictures that I did take, here are some of my favorite shots from Greece!
