Got Spring? // OOTD #1

This past week marked the beginning of Spring and I’m all about it. As much as I love fall, nothings better than blossoming flowers and the sun setting after 7 p.m.

A new season is also a great excuse to change your wardrobe up with brighter pieces. I found this blue floral skirt at my local Goodwill, it’s such an easy piece to dress up or down. It’s one of those pieces that’s sure to get you compliments whenever it’s worn out.

Basics with a twist are always a nice way to add an extra element. I love this black tee because of the black and white striped hem on the neckline and sleeves. American eagle is a good store to peek into for good quality tees.

One of my most recent shoe purchases include these T.U.K. Creepers with a sick metallic skull detail. I picked them up from Dolls Kill and although they were $100 when I purchased them, I think they’re so worth it. These shoes easily became one of my favorite pairs of shoes.

The only downfall would be that they don’t come in half sizes, so if you’re in-between like me it’s hard to decide if you should size up or down.

I ended up sized down and after wearing them a few times my feet began to mold into the shoe so now they fit great.

This outfit is perfect for day of shopping turned into a casual lunch date with friends. The skirt makes is easier to take clothing on and off when trying things on.

No look is complete without accessories, so you can’t forget those!

I opted for a pair of reflective blue sunglasses, a beanie, and this Free People Cross body bag. It has the sickest details with the dangling chains and jacquard fabric.

Feel free to switch out the beanie for a black wide brim hat if those are more your thing.
