Today’s an exciting day because Keppford’s YouStyle Challenge is back giving you inspiration on how to style florals, a graphic tee and all white!
If you need a refresher, this challenge features a fashionista that chooses 3 numbers at random that each correspond to a different event, theme or trend to help you with your styling dilemmas.
Next up is Nicole who is currently a Visual Merchandiser for Zara, so she’s very in tune with the latest trends. Her style is constantly changing depending on the season and what the current are.
This season she is all about feminine pieces mixed with harder pieces or accessories.
“I’ll never wear a full on floral dress with sky high heels, it all about balance for me. If I’m wearing a feminine top I’ll pair it with some denim and a leather belt.”
Zara, Urban Outfitters, H&M and Anthropologie are her favorite fast fashion brands because each brand has a different vibe but provide quality fast fashion forward items at a friendly price.
“I often mix these brands when styling an outfit for a different feel.”
Sunglasses are her most prized fashion piece and, “practically like [her] second skin and always have been.” Currently she’s on the hunt for a good vintage cat eye to add to her collection.
In her free time Nicole loves to explore the city and take pictures of pretty much anything. Her camera roll is filled with fashion, food, and pretty flowers.
“I’m a sucker for nice rooftop views and I love finding new restaurant and pretty spots to shoot ootd photos.”
If you see her in public she’ll most likely be wearing some sort of denim and a statement belt.
We shot these photos in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, there were a lot of cool little spots in the city that can make for good photos. Lots of alleyways and painted buildings!
Nicole styled florals, a graphic tee and an all white look to inspire you next time you have no idea what to wear.
