Animal Print, 80’s and Coffee Date // YouStyle Challenge #3

Out of all the series on my YouStyle Challenge is without a doubt one of my favorites because seeing other people’s outfits is always inspiring.

I’m always wearing sunglasses so I can peacefully people watch and take mental snapshots of people in neck breaking outfits.

This is only the third post in this series so if you need a refresher, Keppford’s YouStyle Challenge is a fun challenge for fashionistas where they are selected to pick 3 numbers at random that correspond to an event, theme or trend and have to put together a look for each of these fashion dilemmas.

Today’s contender is my good friend Bayli, who I met my freshman year of college in Austin and her 3 picks are animal print, 80’s and coffee date.

She describes her style as being a blast from the past and is always pulling inspiration from different time periods.

“I love to keep it funky by adding a fun print or a pop of color to a really simple outfit!”

Some of her favorite places to shop include local vintage boutiques, Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange, and especially Reformation.

“I strive to keep the majority of my closet full of sustainable and eco-friendly options”

It seems like every week there’s a new fashion trend flooding your Instagram feed and Bayli’s top pick is pajama style clothing.

“Whether it’s a silky button down shirt or an oversized and wide legged pair of pants. I think you can have a lot of versatility with these types of items and also look “cool” and comfy at all times!”

Besides being a style enthusiast, she enjoys journaling, planning out future endeavors and collaborating with friends who are involved in the creative community.

Out of all the unique pieces in Bayli’s closet her favorite clothing piece is a basic t-shirt. There are so many different ways you could go such as keeping it casual with high waisted jeans and sneakers or dress it up with a velvet blazer and heels.

“Whether it’s a plain white tee or something more bright and graphic, you can always style them with something that is fitting to your mood for the day”

Now that you’ve got an insight on Bayli’s inspiration and style, here is how she styled an outfit featuring animal print, 80’s inspired, and a coffee date look.
