This past May, the class of 2016 kissed their questionable lifestyles goodbye (let’s hope) and shed one last tear as they walked across the stage earning a college degree.
As a member of the class of 2016, I was excluded from the festivities and get to enjoy another year experiencing “the best time of my life”.
For all you post-grads becoming accustomed to the 9-5 lifestyle, the fun doesn’t have to be over.
Earning a salary and being able to afford things sounds like fun if you ask me. I’m constantly living the life of a broke undergraduate student. Sigh.
Despite the possibility that you might hate your boss, job, life, or maybe all the above, there are many little things you can do daily to make it not seem so bad.
One of the easiest ways to not let the post-grad life getcha down is to have fun with your wardrobe.
You most likely have more disposable income so why not invest it in nice pieces that you can wear for years to come in your professional and non-professional life.
By taking my advice, you might even spark the notoriously frowned-upon office romance with a certain someone (this is your sign).
As a style enthusiast, I’m a firm believer that throwing on outerwear is a sure fire way to spruce up any look.
Bomber jackets are cooler than the other side of your pillow this season and I’m all for it.
Tons of fast-fashion and high-end stores are dishing them out, but I would recommend thrifting or checking your parents closet.
Get inspired by these two outfits styled around bombers and modeled by my friend Emma, whom I recently visited in Nebraska.
These looks are perfect for any laid-back office setting or casual Fridays!
Don’t forget to thank me in your wedding vows.
Thanks for reading and stay hungry to learn, create and grow!
