It’s Friday and I’ve got another photoset to share with you shot back from when I went to school in Iowa.
I’m obsessed with places that haven’t changed with the times which is what sparked my inspiration for this photo shoot. Lucky for me, the bowling alley in the Memorial Union at my university had just the perfect vibe.
As soon as you walked in you were flooded with all the memories that could have been made there since Iowa State was founded back in 1858. When I saw the outdated interior, lanes, and arcade games, I just knew that I had to create a story to capture the aesthetic.
The outfits worn by Mallory for the shoot were pulled from her and I’s personal closets and put together by me. I wanted a very cool, 90’s grunge vibe to the images.
The mood board created for the shoot was obviously heavily inspired by the good ole’ days as you can see with the denim, cool tones and 90’s inspired style.
Mallory killed it during the shoot and the final photos accurately depict the theme, so I’m really stoked to share this photoset with you.
Which photo was your favorite? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading and stay hungry to learn, create and grow!
