Despite the heat, Summer is my second favorite season because of all the free time I have to do things I enjoy like create and sleep. Who doesn’t like to catch up on some much needed zzz’s, I’m sure we all deserve it.
To keep myself busy, I took on a few personal projects to complete during these short months.
One of them included a photography series that contrasted between a summer spend indoors and one spent outdoors. I’ve already posted part one titled “Summer Daze”!
Now the wait is over. Today, I bring to you part 2 titled, “Suburban Summer” which highlights frolicking in a backyard oasis and being one with nature.
Luck was on my side when I scored this Air BnB in Houston, because the owner Dixi generously allowed me to rent it out specifically for this particular shoot. We scored big time, because the space was even better than the photos online.
The atmosphere was so calm and earthy that I would literally book a weekend just to get away. There were so many little nooks in the garden along with the pool, so Jen and I had fun listening to music and exploring.
As always, it was difficult to choose which photos to share but here are some of the best.
