If you don’t follow me on Instagram, then you wouldn’t know that I spend a few days playing in Los Angeles, California.
Although, I’ve been to LA before, this was the first time I was there for multiple days, which allowed me to explore different parts of the crazy city.
Prior to going to Los Angeles, I spent a few days exploring in Seattle, Washington and absolutely loved it!
I’ll be showing you all the pictures from my trips in future snapshots posts, so until then I’m showing you a few looks I sported during my trip.
While I was in Washington, I thrifted at a Value Village in Lynwood on Labor Day and found the sickest items. Seriously my best thrift trip yet.
If there’s anything you need to know about my style, it’s that it highly revolves around cool graphic tees and loose fitting pants and I found both during this trip to the thrift.
It’s the easiest to way to be comfortable and look like you know your shit.
This neon under the sea graphic tee is easily the coolest t-shirt that I own and is 100% the star of this outfit. The colors are so mesmerizing, I could stare at it forever.
I paired it with these fun red pants that I thrifted in Washington as well. When I found them I was like yaaaaass, because I knew instantly that they were a gem find.
They fit my waist perfectly and have ties at the ankles, so I can make the pants taper in for a more edgy look.
In addition, the red in the graphic tee makes a great match with the pants.
Since I was traveling for 9 days, I only brought my trusty black Dr. Martens so that’s what I paired this outfit with, but a nice pair of heeled black booties would be a great way to make this a night look.
For the accessories, I opted for this gold double chain necklace that I got from a consignment shop called Random Goods in Ames, Iowa and my sunglasses are from Shein. I love buying inexpensive sunglasses from there, because they look good and you won’t cry if you lose or break them.
