Brr, it’s cold in here. There must be some outerwear in the atmosphere. Too much? Okay I’ll stop being the PTA mom whose trying too hard, but in my opinion one of the best part about winter is the outerwear.
You’re kind of limited when you live in a southern state like Texas with 80 degree winters but in life you’ve got to work with what you’re given.
There’s always opportunity to play with different styles like trench and moto, so you are bound to find winter outerwear that represents you just right.
Not only do they keep you warm, but they can instantly add a point of interest to your entire ensemble.
If you’re not convinced try imagining yourself in ripped black skinny jeans, a neutral top with this pastel Unif moto or any other statement jacket and bam you’ve got yourself a look.
As long you’re wearing it confidently nobody can tell you shit my friend.
Personally, I believe some real game changers can be found at secondhand or vintage stores, unless you’re free to drop almost a grand on designer outerwear like Velocite from Acne Studios.
I can’t let you leave not looking your best so I’ve put together 4 looks modeled by my friend, Brooke. Her backyard features an amazing rock wall that was dying to be photographed, so we had no choice as you’ll see in the photos below.
Each outfit incorporates coats and jackets to help you out when you’re struggling to be warm, but don’t want to sacrifice the overall look.
